impossibilities and death (my country)

My country is not friendly

it will try to deceive you into believing that it is the land

of history

culture

and beautiful traditions

and maybe we are all that

but lately,

our country has been conquered by

zealots,

half of it is a cemetery

for the burials of the youth

and the other half:

the murderers

and the witnesses

standing

in an ominous silence

that stretches farther than action,

we cope with loss

discuss politics as an unreachable ground

at a cafe,

we know that our government is unconstitutional,

that our blood

is cheaper than

the Egyptian pound,

and that we might not make it alive

because we don’t speak loud enough,

we do not move generations,

we only implement precautionary measures and hope

the issues of our modern society

dissolve on their own.

R.E.D [Riot-Embodiment-Destruction]

She is only seconds away from being here.

Present, oh she will be. You will be the medium for awe.

You can already see her in the distance. Her radiance of red dress and animus. You can see everything coming together into her. All the thoughts and meanings once forgotten become one within her.

She is distant but you still fear her not approaching but I see it. It is in slow steps and anguish that you shall witness the process of her becoming.

But she will be coming, within seconds, minutes, hours, maybe an infinite amount of time, but she will be there, at the other side of the asymptotic region. She will be here, and when she is she will not merely be a function of numbers, she will a function betraying limits and axes.

When you see her, it will only be a realization of how fast you’re bleeding, how far away you are from glimpsing death. Too late a realization of how rebellion is. She visits in red robes but she will enlighten as she murders. She will take away the brave, tread upon the corrupt and resurrect light blown out by dark times and ages.

It is only a matter of time till she’s here, but she is here; your revolution.

The Infinite Revolution of the Mind

My country’s is going up in smoke and crumpling to ashes.
The blood is flooding our streets, and it’s not our fault. Our determination can be as strong as to break us, but it never does. The army and the forces in control think they could’ve fooled us, yet we never back down, our feet remained stuck to the streets as if the concrete was the smooth moving sand that never lets you go. The smell of people. The smell of people and their wills, fills your soul with eternal smiles. You feel yourself lifted by the wind and you feel so beautiful. Your head hits the concrete, nevertheless, your soul keeps moving with the crowd, believing it had reached the highest of heavens. Because when you’re as free as to walk through the fire, and feel your skin shivering, when you’re fighting for something so sacred to your heart and mind, when you’re fighting so strongly for something right, you’re fighting for yourself, your idea. The infinite revolution of the mind.
